Twenty-two league matches. Twenty-two wins. We rewind Narangba Eagles’ perfect 2024 FQPL 5 Metro league campaign...
Read moreTwelve consecutive wins. Fifty goals scored. Just ten conceded — the longest winning streak in the Queensland men's pyramid this season.
Brothers' first played league match of 2026 ended in a 5–1 victory over Townsville Warriors. Eleven games later, they still had not dropped a point.
Every other club in FQPL Northern was beaten during the run. Half the victories featured at least four Brothers goals, while four ended without conceding.
Across the 12 matches Brothers averaged 4.17 goals per game and outscored their opponents 50–10. No other side across The Low Block's tracked Queensland men's pyramid produced a longer winning streak in 2026.

Jeremy Brockie and Liam Phelps supplied more than half of the goals, but the scoring was spread much further than the top two. Twelve different Brothers players found the net during the run.
Brothers became increasingly dangerous as matches progressed. Only 18 of the 50 goals came before half-time, with 32 arriving after the interval.
Brothers took the opening lead in ten of the twelve victories.
Rebels, Estates, Riverway JCU and Burdekin were all held scoreless.
Exactly half the winning streak featured at least four Brothers goals.
The two games in which Brothers conceded first still ended 3–2.

Brothers eventually finished with an 18–0–2 league record. The 12 straight victories accounted for two-thirds of all their wins.
The run was even more important to their attacking numbers: 50 of their 70 season goals came during the streak.
Brothers' 12 straight was the longest winning streak in the Queensland men's pyramid this season. Four other clubs reached 11.

Some of the chasing streaks produced even more dominant scoring or defensive numbers. But nobody in the pyramid kept winning for as long as Brothers. Twelve straight set the benchmark.

Estates FC finally stopped the run on July 4 with a 4–2 win. Brothers would lose only once more across the league campaign.
They finished with 18 victories from 20 matches, 70 goals scored and 54 points — turning the pyramid's longest winning streak of the season into the defining stretch of a first-place campaign.
