PARK RIDGE · FQPL 6 · 2026
THE
LATE SHOW
Park Ridge scored five decisive go-ahead goals after the 80th minute in 2026 — the most of any team across NPL Queensland and FQPL 1–6.
A HABIT OF FINDING A WAY
Five times, Park Ridge changed the game after 80'
Park Ridge finished their FQPL 6 league campaign with 16 wins from 21 matches. Five of those victories were decided by a goal after the 80th minute that broke a level score and put them ahead for good.
That means almost a third of their league wins were secured by a late decisive goal. At the moment each of those five goals was scored, Park Ridge were heading for a draw.
Turning five draws into five wins is a swing of 10 league points — a huge part of a 52-point season.

WHY THE NUMBER MATTERS
No other team matched Park Ridge's late-winning habit
Across the main Queensland men's pyramid, Park Ridge were the only side to record five decisive go-ahead goals after the 80th minute.
The next-best total was three, reached by a group of teams including Brisbane Strikers, Broadbeach United, Lions FC, Moreton City Excelsior, Newmarket and Pine Rivers.
Park Ridge did it across four months, against four different opponents, with two of the five coming against Brighton Bulldogs.
ONE IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
Late goals, but five actual winners
Park Ridge scored other goals after the 80th minute during the season, including insurance goals in the 90th minute against ACU and Brighton Bulldogs.
For this stat, a “decisive late winner” is only counted when the score was level before the goal, Park Ridge moved ahead, and they never surrendered that lead.
