How AI Sees the FQPL 4 Ladder

April 6, 2026

Using last season’s ladder, promotion and relegation changes, and detailed match timelines from the opening rounds, we built an AI-based projection of how FQPL 4 could finish. Rather than relying purely on the table, this analysis looks at how matches have actually unfolded — including scoring patterns, consistency, and how teams perform against different levels of opposition.

What the data suggests

Logan Village and Narangba look like the strongest teams early, combining heavy scoring with much better control than most of the league. New Farm and Logan Metro have also shown enough quality to stay firmly in the finals mix, while the lower half is being shaped by defensive instability and inconsistency from week to week.

1

Logan Village

Logan Village have carried their dominance from last season into this year, combining strong results with consistent control of matches. Their ability to limit opposition chances while still producing goals suggests a team built for long-term consistency, which is usually what separates first from second.

2

Narangba Eagles

Narangba have been one of the most impressive sides early on, particularly from an attacking standpoint, with multiple high-scoring performances. Their results indicate a team capable of overwhelming opponents, and if that level continues, they are a genuine promotion contender.

3

New Farm United

New Farm’s results show a team that is extremely effective going forward and capable of beating strong opposition. While they haven’t played as many games yet, their performances suggest a side that can sustain a top four push once fixtures balance out.

4

Logan Metro

Logan Metro have been involved in high-scoring matches but have consistently found ways to pick up points. Their attacking output is strong, but the volume of goals conceded suggests they may fall just short of the top tier over a full season.

5

Ripley Valley

Ripley Valley have shown one of the most aggressive attacking profiles in the league, with multiple heavy wins early on. However, their matches tend to open up significantly, which creates volatility and makes it difficult to see them maintaining a top four position consistently.

6

Kangaroo Point Rovers

As a promoted side, Kangaroo Point have been competitive and capable of picking up important wins. Their results suggest a team that will comfortably stay in the league, but may lack the consistency required to push into finals.

7

Annerley FC

Annerley have shown they can compete across multiple matches but have struggled against stronger attacking teams. Their performances indicate a mid-table side that can take points off anyone, but not consistently control games.

8

Bardon Latrobe

Bardon have had mixed results, showing competitiveness in some matches but struggling to maintain it across full games. Their profile suggests a team that will hover around the lower mid-table without a clear push either way.

9

Centenary Stormers

Centenary have had inconsistent results, including both wins and heavy defeats, which points to a lack of stability. That volatility makes it difficult to see them climbing significantly as the season progresses.

10

Western Spirit

Western Spirit have been involved in open, high-scoring matches but have struggled to consistently turn performances into points. Their defensive record in particular suggests they may remain in the lower part of the table.

11

Bayside United

Bayside’s results indicate a team struggling to compete consistently at this level, particularly against stronger opposition. While there are moments of competitiveness, the overall trend suggests a difficult season.

12

The Gap FC

The Gap’s early performances show a side conceding heavily and struggling to control matches. Based on current patterns, they appear likely to remain at the bottom unless there is a significant shift in performance.

What the data is really showing

The biggest separator in FQPL 4 so far is attacking efficiency combined with defensive control. Teams that can score heavily and limit chances — like Logan Village and Narangba — are consistently winning, while teams involved in open, high-scoring matches are dropping points even when they perform well.
